Lightroom tip: Lens profiles
Adobe Lightroom can make corrections for the lens you used, but sometimes the application doesn’t recognize your lens, even if a profile is available. That can happen if you use a third party lens, for example. In that case you can manually select the lens you used, but you don’t want to have to do that each time you used this lens. The solution is to set this profile as a new default. In the Develop module, go to Lens Corrections and select the profile of the lens. Then, use the pop-up menu behind ‘Setup’ and choose ‘Save New Lens Profile Defaults’. That’s all. From now on Lightroom will automatically apply this profile.
