One of the advantages of digital photography is that photographers do not have to decide upon the media at the moment they are shooting. You can shoot in color, like almost every digital camera does, and decide to make a B&W version at a later stage. The disadvantage is that you could completely forget to also look at certain images ‘through B&W glasses’. For that reason I have told myself to go through the images of my latest trip to Glacier and Yellowstone, and look for candidates for B&W fine art prints in particular. Here’s one example of an image I like in color, but think is even better in black & white. You can order this print through Fine Art America or Art Flakes.
