Flower fields
It’s that time of year, when thousands of tourists flock to the famous flower fields in the western part of the country, close to where I live. I have to admit I hadn’t photographed the fields for many years. The closer to home, the easier you forget it, so it seems. This year I decided to spend some time in the flower fields again, also to test my new Sony A7R. Thanks to live view and the articulating LCD, this camera makes it a lot easier to get some shots that are different from the shots all the tourists take. I no longer have to press my chin in the sand to get that extremely low angle view, for example!
