A very nice hidden feature in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is the ‘Solo Mode’. It’s turned off by default and that is why many people don’t even know it exists. You can turn it on by right-clicking in the empty space next to the name of a development ‘tab’ in the Develop module. A pop-up menu will appear, giving you the option to hide seldom used tabs like ‘Split Toning’ and turn on Solo Mode. In Solo Mode, Lightroom will automatically close all inactive tabs. Only the tab you are working with is open. Click on another tab and that will open, closing the one you were just working in. This saves you a lot of scrolling, especially on smaller screens.
