‘Human’ autofocus

Scientific American has an interesting article about a new autofocus algoritm that would make the autofocus of digital cameras as fast and as accurate as the human eye. No more ‘hunting’ in poor light, the camera would always focus correctly and instantly. Can’t wait to see this in the Canon EOS 1D X Mark II…
