My new African wildlife book, called ‘Seasons of South Luangwa’, is close to its release. A final draft is being printed and if all goes well, the book will be available from this website in another week or so. The Luangwa Valley in Zambia is one of the last virtually unspoilt regions in Africa. In the rainy ‘Emerald’ season the mighty Luangwa river floods large parts of the valley, bringing new life to the thirsty land. The valley is lush and green and stunningly beautiful. In the dry season from June till November, the valley becomes arid and dry, and life becomes difficult for the residents. This book is the photo story of the two faces of South Luangwa national park.
